I ordered this lift for my husband. He has Parkinson's and have had strokes. He was just in the hospital for a week. I tried so hard to get a lift similar to this one thru my husband's insurance. I was told by the hospital cae worker that insurance will not cover it for home use. So, I bit the bullet and started looking online. I found this one. I am so glad that I ordered it. Since receiving this equipment, I have not had to use my shoulders and back to assist my husband to stand or sit down. We have used it for a week and it have already paid for itself because it's helping me and my husband. It's a win, win situation. The assembly was not hard either. It just takes a little time. The instructions were easy to follow and there were pictures with each step. I am a 58 year old woman and I put it together alone. There is also tools included to put it together. Also, when I called to order this, the man in customer service was very nice and helpful. Thank you midwestern for a wonderful piece of equipment. I will order again from this company when I need something.
